All full members of the Leeds Savage Club are encouraged to submit a short biography for publication on our website.

One of our biggest commitments to you as an artist is the promotion of your self and your work. Biographies are a great way for us to tell the people of Leeds (and the world!), who you are and what you do. They help us encourage opportunities for you and assist outside organisations in asking, directly, for the people they’d really like to speak to.

So, if you’re interested in getting yourself known to the Leeds art world, or in showcasing the fantastic talent our Club already contains to prospective members, please complete a contact form to request the guidelines for submission.

‘Featured Members’ on Ten Minutes…

On the 19th day of each calendar month, we post the article, ‘Ten Minutes…’, featuring a different Savage Club member, to the front page of our website. This allows everyone to find out more about an individual writer or sketcher, their artistic style and inspirations, and any special projects they might be involved in.

In order to become a ‘featured member’, you must be invited for interview by the Press Officer. The Press Officer’s selections are made solely on points of artistic interest or merit and all Leeds Savage Club members have the potential to be ‘featured’.
